A number of studies confirm that by eating slower you will consume fewer calories. In fact studies show that you can lose up to 20 pounds without changing your diet, just by eating slower.

The reason for this interesting phenomena to occur is because it takes our brain about 20 minutes register that we’re full. If we eat fast our brain will not tell our body to stop consuming food.

Carbohydrates are digested in our mouths. If we do not chew our food slower all of the precious energy will be wasted and fewer carbohydrates will be consumed. As we all know we need carbohydrates for a good workout and we need a good workout to boost our weight loss.
