Today while I was browsing the internet I came across this article about the “mini-muscleman” and I decided to take a look. What I was stunning and a little motivating. A small indian person going by the name of Aditya ‘Romeo’ Dev is the world’s smallest bodybuilder.

He is only 2ft and 9in. Now I am not sure how old this article was, because there was no date on it, but even if it is old it’s new to me. And I have to say it is really motivating to see a person so small and yet so persistent to achieve his goal!
I digged up some more information about Aditya and here is what I found.

The small Romeo is well-known in his hometown of Phagwara, India, for his ability to lift 1.5kg dumbbells, dispite the fact that he is overall body weight is only 9kg.

Unlike many dwarfs, Romeo is well proportioned, with a head circumference of 15in and a chest measurement of 20in.

Romeo said: “I’ve been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world.

“I have always been fit but since I started working out, I have become famous for my strength.

“My size has never stopped me. I train with dumbbells and do aerobics and dance. People are always pleased to see me. I have been invited on TV shows and dance on stage.”

His personal trainer Ranjeet Pal spends hours helping the young 19 year old mini-bodybuilder build his muscles to perfection.
I don’t know about you, but I was shocked while reading this article. It put a smile on my face and made me think about all of the beginners that are struggling. And I am going to show this to them on my phone so they can see what real motivation means. I hope this will make them think, “if he can do it, I can too”.
